Website and cookies
How the website works
The site contains no contact forms, advertising banners or embedded maps and does not ask visitors to enter health data. External services activate only when their links are selected.
The site is published through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting infrastructure may process technical data and logs needed to deliver and protect the service and records aggregate traffic statistics such as page views and unique visitors.
The infrastructure may use cookies or technical identifiers that are strictly necessary for operation and security. Only after consent through the banner does the site load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, with measurement ID G-QP3GBTSGC3, to record page views and navigation interactions for website-usage statistics.
The Google tag stays blocked before consent. “Statistics only” enables Analytics only. “Statistics and ad measurement” also permits cookies and sharing browsing data, ad-click identifiers and contact-link interactions with Google to measure VIVERESANO’s Google Ads campaigns. Phone and WhatsApp clicks mean the link was opened, not that a call was completed, a message was sent or an appointment booked. The site cannot read phone or WhatsApp conversations. Google signals, personalised advertising and remarketing remain disabled. Earlier Analytics consent does not authorize ad measurement. Consent is optional and can be changed at any time in “Manage cookies” in the footer; withdrawal removes the site’s cookies for the withdrawn purpose. Updated 25 September 2026. Current GA4 property settings retain event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months.

ChatGPT Ads · OpenAI
From 4 October 2026, choosing “Statistics and ad measurement” also enables the OpenAI Measurement Pixel for ads in ChatGPT. Earlier Google consent does not activate it. Only a generic phone or WhatsApp link-click event is sent, together with technical attribution identifiers and the website domain. We do not send patient names, personal contact details, symptoms, treatments, message text or conversations. The Pixel is excluded from the AI assistant page. The __oppref and __obref cookies last 30 and 365 days respectively, subject to browser limits; withdrawing consent removes them. Events opt out of future personalisation. External services
When you leave the website
Phone, email, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Facebook, FNOFI and ChatGPT are separate services. Do not send medical records until the clinic has indicated a suitable channel.
AI assistant

Conversation text is sent to OpenAI to generate replies. Chats are not saved in clinic records or forwarded to staff. The page copy disappears when the conversation ends or after 15 minutes of inactivity; this does not delete data retained by providers. General health questions may use web research on a public topic, with accessible sources; even with attachments, research receives only the public medicine or topic name you type, not the document or conversation.
Uploading is optional. You can continue without attachments or contact the clinic directly. AI can briefly explain a written report, but may make mistakes: it does not diagnose, interpret diagnostic images or replace a professional assessment.
When you press Send, the document and the full text of the open conversation pass through the website hosting and are sent to OpenAI to generate the reply. They are not forwarded to clinic staff, added to clinical records or published. The chat code does not save them in the website database, a file archive or application logs.
The conversation and document copy held by the page are removed when you select New conversation, close the chat window, reload the page or after 15 minutes of inactivity. This does not undo previous transmissions or delete data retained by providers.
OpenAI does not use API data to train models by default. Response storage is disabled, but this does not guarantee zero retention: security logs may contain data for up to 30 days, subject to exceptions in the provider’s terms. Hosting also processes technical data. We do not promise immediate deletion or absolute confidentiality at providers.
First redact names, date of birth, tax or identity numbers, contact details and other unnecessary identifiers, including those in images. Choose only the relevant document. You can ask for general medicine information in this conversation by typing its name. Separate web research uses only the public medicine or topic name you provide, not the document, conversation or personal details.
To prevent abuse, the server derives a protected temporary identifier from the IP address and stores counters and expiry times only. The chat database does not store the plain IP address. The limit is 15 requests per connection per day, resetting at midnight in Italy; shared connections share the limit. Counters expire after two days and are deleted on the next valid request. The chat page does not load Google Analytics.
The hosting infrastructure and OpenAI may process technical data to operate and protect the service. API response storage is disabled; this does not mean the provider retains no data. OpenAI states that API data is not used for training by default and that abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days, with exceptions. Reloading this page does not delete data retained by the provider.
